It was a beautiful fall day to play outside with the bows!!! Thanks to the Chaptico Optimist Club for putting on such a great Youth 3-D Archery Event! A bunch of kids came out who had never even held a bow before. We really enjoyed working with them and seeing smiles on their faces when they hit the targets!
We are SO excited to announce the GRAND OPENING of our very first line of stylish/casual DWB KILL OR CHILL APPAREL! It may have taken us months to brainstorm and analyze every single detail from the exact logo, to the exact placement, colors, materials, designs, shape of everything we put out, but it was TOTALLY worth it!! Now our fellow “doe” friends can express who they are in and out of the stand! DWB believes that a shirt or a hat can go beyond just a material, it can give just the right amount of confidence and boost for a women to feel just as amazing on the outside as she does on the inside! We can’t wait to see our DOES struttin’ our stuff around thier very own hometown! (VISIT STORE)
Win a FREE DWB WINDOW DECAL (Flaunt it, Snap it, Stick it): Email us an outdoor photo of yourself in a piece of our attire, include your name and hometown, We will post our VERY favorites on our site (by permission)!
Thanks to ALL who came out to see us despite Hurricane Irene! It was great seeing new & familiar faces. We were amazed as to how many women we talked to who have already been hunting or are just now starting to practice with their new bows! For those who came out, you were the first to see our new line of DWB Chill or Kill Apparel. Everything in our store will be up for purchase this week, stay tuned! KIT on Facebook! Have a great Labor Day Weekend…take out some time for bow practice!
Meet DWB’s Mascot, Miss. Doe Licious! Before joining DWB, Miss Licious went through an extensive extreme makeover. Visit our facebook page to see her transformation. She absolutely LOVES her new look & is happy to be part of the DWB team. She’ll be traveling with us to all of our events, so please come out and meet her this weekend at the Buck Wild Hunter’s Expo at the Charles County Fairgrounds! She’d be happy to take a picture with you and your kids!
Was anyone else setting up trail cameras in the middle of the woods by themselves when the earth decided to shake?!?! Talk about SCARY!!!!!!!! The ground started vibrating and the limbs of the trees were shaking, I thought I was going crazy!!! Me and my pink polka dotted rainboots never hauled so fast outta the woods as they did today!!! I believe that black snake that crossed my path right before it happened was trying to give me a warning signal! Where were all of you when it quaked???
Hello there! Now that our website has officially launched, we’d like to see who our first visitors are! Don’t be shy! Click on the “LEAVE A COMMENT” link to introduce yourself and say hello! Are you an archer or hunter? New to the sport, or a veteran? We’d love to hear from you!
It’s Official! The DWB sign is now up at the ballfield in our hometown; Clements, MD!!! We’d like to give our dad a big THANK YOU for making our sign DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!!! WE LOVE YOU DAD! xoxoxo
DWB had a blast this weekend at Bass Pro in Ashland, Va! Started off with an old fashioned breakfast at Horne’s, 3 hrs. at BP, and then Cracker Barrel for lunch! Did you know they allow dogs in Bass Pro?! I think I saw about 4 pooches sniffing around some good buys. My family couldn’t make it, so I snagged this nice lookin’ gentleman and his lovely black lab!
Last night my dad spent all night cleaning his dads ole’ Remington 1100 and passed it down to me. I never got the opportunity to meet my grandfather but I felt like I met him today on my very first time holding the gun, the very first pull of the day, my very first squeeze of the trigger…the clay blasted to pieces!!!! It was AWESOME because I am pretty darn new to the skeet I know he was there!!! Thanks Grandpa Foreman! Getting our very 1st bruise marks from the kick of his gun is a day we will always remember. He would be so proud!
It’s not hard to see that hunting is a man’s world. Why not make it a woman’s world too?! There’s no reason why we can’t hunt our own deer and cook it too. We say it’s time to toss the apron and get outta the kitchen! Throw on some camo and climb up that tree stand!
Afterall, ladies are continuing to take their stand in the tree alongside men and other women. Whether it’s shooting at a target or at game, finding a woman with a bow in hand is becoming mainstream.
If you’re one of these women, we want to hear from you! What led you to shoot for that bulls-eye or climb that stand?
