Was anyone else setting up trail cameras in the middle of the woods by themselves when the earth decided to shake?!?! Talk about SCARY!!!!!!!! The ground started vibrating and the limbs of the trees were shaking, I thought I was going crazy!!! Me and my pink polka dotted rainboots never hauled so fast outta the woods as they did today!!! I believe that black snake that crossed my path right before it happened was trying to give me a warning signal! Where were all of you when it quaked???

DWB had a blast this weekend at Bass Pro in Ashland, Va! Started off with an old fashioned breakfast at Horne’s, 3 hrs. at BP, and then Cracker Barrel for lunch! Did you know they allow dogs in Bass Pro?! I think I saw about 4 pooches sniffing around some good buys. My family couldn’t make it, so I snagged this nice lookin’ gentleman and his lovely black lab!
My First Gun

Last night my dad spent all night cleaning his dads ole’ Remington 1100 and passed it down to me. I never got the opportunity to meet my grandfather but I felt like I met him today on my very first time holding the gun, the very first pull of the day, my very first squeeze of the trigger…the clay blasted to pieces!!!! It was AWESOME because I am pretty darn new to the skeet
I know he was there!!! Thanks Grandpa Foreman! Getting our very 1st bruise marks from the kick of his gun is a day we will always remember. He would be so proud!

It’s not hard to see that hunting is a man’s world. Why not make it a woman’s world too?! There’s no reason why we can’t hunt our own deer and cook it too. We say it’s time to toss the apron and get outta the kitchen! Throw on some camo and climb up that tree stand!
Afterall, ladies are continuing to take their stand in the tree alongside men and other women. Whether it’s shooting at a target or at game, finding a woman with a bow in hand is becoming mainstream.
If you’re one of these women, we want to hear from you! What led you to shoot for that bulls-eye or climb that stand?
